Never Give Up On Your Dreams
A few days ago I received an email from one of my subscribers that kinda shocked me. I get a lot of emails with questions, comments, and JV requests and I love to interact with my subscribers, but this one was different, because he reminded me of myself a while back.
Here is the email Dave (he allowed me to post his first name) wrote to me:
"Hi Jack. First of all I want to thank you for all the helpful content that you send me, i really appreciate it. The reason I'm writing you this email is because sadly I have to unsubscribe from your mailing list, and the reason is not that I don't like the stuff that you send me, but because I came to the conclusion that I'll never succeed with this internet marketing stuff. In the past year I tried every possible method to make money online, I bought countless courses, I spent more money than I can afford, but nothing worked. There comes a point when a person needs to know that It's time to quit. So thank you for everything, yours, Dave".
Reminds Me Of Someone Else!
After reading Dave's email I just gazed at the screen for some time, and than I realized that he reminds me of someone else who was exactly in the same situation – me! After that i new that I have to write this post.

Why Am I Writing This?
Before I was an internet marketer I was a cubicle rat working 9 to 9 in a job I hated. I started my online career on eBay. I started by selling small stuff I had at home, and slowly developed my business to a full online store selling pet supplies around the world. When I look back, I can count at least 10 times that I wanted to quit and give up on this.
At first no supplier wanted to work with me. For weeks I contacted, faxed and phoned dozens of suppliers that turned me down. It tool me 3 months just to find a supplier that agreed to work with me, and that is after I practically begged them for more than a week. After I found a supplier I had to go through all the tech barriers, and finally get people to buy from me. I new nothing on business, or on the internet, and I had to learn everything by myself.
For a whole month after I found the supplier, and opened the store, I didn't sell even one product. Money was going out fast, but no money was coming in. At this point fear and doubt started crawling and taking over me. Maybe this in not for me? At nights I kept on learning everything I could about the art of selling, copywriting, and customer support. Finally after a month I had my first sale from my store! It was a small sale of $9.99, but for me it was the world.
Finally Success!

More and more sales started coming in, and throughout the process I learned how to improve my sales copies, better price my items, automate my customer support, until one day I got 2 emails from eBay:
First email:
"Congratulations! Your recent selling activity and great service to your customers qualify you for the eBay PowerSeller program as a Bronze PowerSeller."
Second email:
Congratulations! You've achieved Top-rated seller status. Your commitment to creating the best buyer experiences for your customers allows you to reap the greatest rewards of the PowerSeller program."
After all that struggle, failure and sleepless nights I finally new It was well worth it. what would have happened if I gave up along the way?
Never Give up On Your Dreams
My eBay stage was great for me. Once I found out affiliate marketing I turned all my sources into it, because I found out that I can make great money without any inventory or customer support, and I"ll write about that on many other posts.
Dave, I know you're reading this, and I know that the crisis that you're going through now is part of the process that will make you a better marketer. Deep inside you, you know that you will succeed big time. It's worth it! Thank me later
